RALEIGH, N.C. — The warmer temperatures this week have us dreaming about spring and one of our favorite festivals, Brewgaloo.

Celebrating local craft beer, this event is in its third year. Last year more than 10,000 people attended.

This year's Brewgaloo, scheduled for April 26, will feature more than 35 local breweries and more than 50 local food trucks and vendors along Fayetteville Street.

More entertainment will be announced but so far Acoustic Manner, New Reveille, Outside Soul, Sensory Expressions, Atomic Rhythm All Stars, The Chit Nasty Band and Laura Reed are on the bill.

Two-hundred fifty VIP tickets are available. This $75-ticket gets you rare craft beer, food pairings, early admission, private bathrooms (always a plus!) and swag bags.

General admission is free, but if you want to sample some beer you will need to buy tokens. One $5 drink token can be used for one full pint or five 3 oz. samples.

Drink ticket pre-sales are available online now through April 25. If you buy early you can get five tokens for $20.

With it being such a large event, volunteers are needed. Contact Mariah Bridges at mariahbridges@gmail.com for shift info and about the two free beer tokens you can get for volunteering.
