RALEIGH, N.C. — Barring Hurricane Matthew, the final Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo of the year will take place on Sunday. There will be more than 50 trucks from around the state lining Fayetteville Street starting at 1 p.m.

The SAS Championship, a golf tournament on the PGA Legends Tour, will have Food Truck Friday on Oct. 14 at Prestonwood Country Club. Food trucks: American Meltdown, Chirba Chirba Dumpling, Cousins Maine Lobster and Spanglish will be there.
Local food truck association, RDU Mobile Food Association, is organizing the first Carrboro Food Truck Festival on Sunday, Oct.16. Food Trucks Bandido’s, Baton Rouge Cuisine, Citizen Pops, Cocoa Forte, Crispy Gyoza, Flirting with Fire, Heavenly Smoke, JAM Ice Cream, Qspresso, Sarge’s and Wingski's will serve at Carrboro Town Commons. Face painting, a bouncy house, live music, craft beer and Tiny House tour will be there for additional entertainment.
