Raleigh, N.C. — A utility pole fell along Wade Avenue in Raleigh Thursday afternoon, knocking down power lines and blocking all lanes of the east-west artery between Interstate 440 and Ridge Road.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation estimated that traffic would be detoured around the area through at least 5:30 p.m.
Lanes were reopened just past 3 p.m.
