Dos Taquitos will be moving from Creedmoor Road into the current Taverna Agora building at 6101 Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh, spokesman Ralph Ottaviano said Wednesday.

The restaurant has been at its current location for 24 years. Taverna Agora will be moving to downtown Raleigh.

The move is expected to take place at the end of August. Ottaviano said the new space will feature better parking and more space.

A formal announcement about the move is expected on Cinco de Mayo, May 5.

Before the move, the restaurant is going to restore its weekday lunch service. Starting Monday, lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Dos Taquitos has another location -– on Glenwood South.

I hope they clean their stuff up when they move. the place is so hippy looking. I don't go there anymore. after discovering Gonza - the food is so much better. and after the bad news on WRAL about Dos Taquitos breaking the law I haven't been back since. now for their new location? the outside of that building is so nasty I have never went to Taverna Agora. I heard the food was good there but too afraid from the looks of the outside of the building. not sure Dos will survive that location
