Dogs rescued from Wake Forest house fire

— Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a Wake Forest home on Thursday evening. 

The fire broke out before 6 p.m. at 6808 Moresham Way. It took crews about three hours to put the blaze out. 

The homeowners were not there when the fire started, but firefighters rescued two dogs. The animals were not injured.

    Good job! I'm glad firefighters think about animals. To lots of people dogs are members of the family. I know my furbabies are like my children :)
