(AHHHHH, screams all of the preschoolers).

He'll be at Moogfest as part of its Joyful Noise of STEAM series from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham. It's free and designed for all ages.

DJ Lance (also known as Lance Robertson) is based in Los Angeles and explores his interest in electronic music through a radio show, club DJ gigs and live concerts, according to Moogfest's website.

He'll be joined by McQueen Adams of Funny or Die and creator of the new Comedy Central Snapchat series “Heads Will Roll;" Nanny Cantaloupe, musician, DJ, music label owner and an assistant to developmentally disabled children; Modular on the Spot, an outdoor modular synth performance event; and Michael Winslow, who you will recognize from lots of movie and TV shows and is known as the "Man of 10,000 Sound Effects."

WRAL's Out & About section has much more information about Moogfest, which has lots of great activities for families planned.
