This Sunday is National DIY Day! With our beautiful spring weather this is the perfect time of year to get out with your family and DIY together!

Here are a few projects that are fun for the entire family:

Outdoor Road

My little guy loves cars, so we found some scrap wood in the garage and, with a quick coat of acrylic paint, he has an outdoor road that he can build any way he wants! If you don't have wood scraps, head over to your local home improvement store and they will even cut it for you!

Yard Tic Tac Toe

Yard tic tac toe is a big hit in our family! First, you will need some rope or ribbon for your lines. You can even get creative and use some old jump ropes. Buy wooden letters at any craft store. We added some paint and fun polka dots. Them, you are ready to go!

Nighttime Easter Egg Hunt

Who doesn't love an egg hunt? As the sun sets, it is time for a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt. Go find all those eggs from last year's hunt and head over to a dollar store for some battery operated tea lights. Put the lights in the eggs and you are ready for a night of family fun!

DIY and family fun doesn't have to be expensive. And when you do it together, you will make sweet memories!
