Disney on Ice Frozen arrives in Raleigh Dec. 10; we have a sneak peek

Posted November 11, 2014

The show hits the PNC Arena Dec. 10 to Dec. 14.

Disney on Ice Frozen stops at the PNC Arena for shows Dec. 10 to Dec. 15. Ticket sales have been described as "insane" even after the show added a tenth Raleigh performance earlier this year to meet demand.

The show brings to life the popular characters from the hit Disney movie that is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time. Anna, Elsa, Olaf and other friends will skate through some of the popular songs from the movie like "Let it Go."

Other Disney characters will be on hand. Mickey and Minnie host the show. Other Disney princesses and characters from Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Lion King will make an appearance.

Tickets start at $12 for opening night and at $20 for the other performances. The usual ticket fees apply. And, I'll warn you, tickets are limited at this point for the shows that I've looked at through Ticketmaster.

Check our image gallery for a look at the show. My girls are thrilled to go to this one!

The show also stops at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex from Dec. 4 to Dec. 7.

It's at the Crown Center of Cumberland County in Fayetteville from Dec. 17 to Dec. 21.

My daughter has a doll very similar to this one. She is seven and she loves it. I wish you luck, and enjoy every minute you can with your precious child.

My marriage of twelve years ended recently. The official date of the divorce was this past July 6th. I get to spend wonderful weekends with my five year old daughter. She talks non-stop about Frozen and Elsa. I need to sit down and watch it with her one of these days. She re-watches it many times a week my ex says. She never gets bored with the story. Ah, to be a child again! I know nothing about all this. Her Christmas wish list is filled with Frozen-related products, but it's sort of vague. Is this the doll that would be most preferred by a five year old Frozen fanatic?
