Detectives investigating Fayetteville sexual assault
Detectives are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Monday at a mobile home park in Fayetteville.

A preliminary investigation by the Fayetteville Police Department's Special Victim's Unit found a woman entered her residence in the area of the Sunset Mobile Home Park off Rim Road. The woman was then attacked from behind by an unknown male who sexually assaulted her, according to a news release from the city.
The suspect was described as a male who is between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 wearing a gray hoodie. The victim said the suspect spoke with a deep Southern accent.
The investigation is ongoing.
