What should the Raleigh flag look like?

The City of Raleigh flag features a crest on a field of white with red bars on the side.

— The City of Oaks could get a new flag.

Raleigh City Council members are mulling over the idea of rebranding the city and a new flag could be part of the effort.

There's no timetable for the project.

Longtime council member John Odom jokingly told staff on Tuesday to consider a flag with squirrels on it.

    To hell with a Raleigh flag. More money to be spent in committees and focus groups. Take that money and lower taxes & FEEs!
