Deputies: Shot fired into car on U.S. 264 during Wake County road rage incident
The Wake County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who fired a shot into another car on U.S. Highway 264 during an alleged road rage incident Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said the man pulled up alongside another car at about 3:25 p.m. and fired one round into the victim’s driver’s seat.
Authorities said the victim was not injured.
Authorities believe the man was driving a Dodge Challenger or Dodge Charger with tinted windows and factory rims. There was a woman in the passenger seat of the car, deputies said.
