Deputies investigate possible murder-suicide in Wilson County
Wilson County deputies found two people shot to death inside the pool house at a Lucama residence Sunday morning in what authorities said Monday could be a murder-suicide.
Posted — UpdatedNeighbors called authorities Sunday to report that a red Honda CRV parked in the yard at 8235 Spring Hill Church Road didn't belong there.
When deputies arrived, shortly before 10 a.m., they found Robert Laythe, 47, of Wisconsin and Angela Miller, 46, of Bridgers Street in Morehead City, dead inside the pool house.
Authorities said Laythe's family owns the residence.
Investigators said both people were dead of gunshot wounds, but it was not clear who fired the shots.
