Deputies: Girl abducted from bus stop, sexually assaulted

Posted October 12

— Authorities are searching for a man who an 11-year-old girl says abducted her from a bus stop and sexually assaulted her in a church parking lot.

The Alamance County Sheriff's Office tells news outlets the girl flagged down a vehicle for help Tuesday morning, about 45 minutes after she was seized by a man while waiting for her school bus.

The girl says a man between the ages of 35 and 45 had driven away with her, sexually assaulted her and then released her.

Deputies described the vehicle as a gray four-door car that was possibly a Buick that may have a sticker on the back with a skull on it.

Sad fact is that there are monsters among us. They blend in with the public and strike out at the most vulnerable of our citizens. This child will be forever changed, and she deserves our compassion and support. The predator who violated her needs to be caught and held responsible for his vile acts.

This is horrible and deserves the highest punishment. This girl will live will this forever. And at this time, her and her family have to hear about Trump's comments that sounds like he sexually assaults women over and over. How horrible.

Also, why didn't HB2 protect this girl here? We were promised that our wives and daughters would be protected by HB2. What happened Governor McCrory? Please explain.
