Dudley, N.C. — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested Thursday a Dudley man accused of sexually assaulting a woman while she was unconscious.
David Escobar Herrera, 31, of 291 Woodland Church Road, was charged with second-degree forcible sexual assault and placed in the Wayne County jail under a $100,000 bond.
Deputies said the charges stem from an April 14 incident in which they found the woman lying on the bathroom floor of Herrera’s home.
Authorities, however, released no other information about the case.
