CARRBORO, N.C. — A delivery truck ran into the awning in front of an assisted living facility in Carrboro on Monday afternoon, officials said.

The truck was trying to back into a storage building to unload air conditioners when it hit the awning at the Crescent Green of Carrboro, 624 Jones Ferry Road, facility owner Al Morgan said. The awning collapsed several minutes later.

No one was injured, but a water line was damaged. Morgan said the facility’s water was not affected.
