RALEIGH, N.C.Death & Taxes and Bridge Club isn't open yet, but Ashley Christensen's latest downtown venture will be on fire next month when a series of pop-up dinners dubbed "The Firestarters" take over the space.

Dinners start with a champagne and cocktail reception by Ashley at Bridge Club, on the second and third floors of the building at 105 W. Hargett St. in downtown Raleigh. Guests will receive a tour of the space, plus libations and snacks previewing the upcoming menu. Guests will head downstairs for a four-course dinner at Death & Taxes, prepared by that evening's guest chef.
