CARY, N.C. — If you enjoy delicious seafood at Dean's Seafood Grill in Cary through Dec. 31, you'll support children in need who live right here in the Triangle.
Dean's has selected WRAL's very own Coats for the Children campaign as the recipient for its charitable December dinner special. Now through the end of the month, $3 from each three course prix fixe menu purchased will be dedicated to providing children and their families with warm clothing and holiday gifts this winter.

"Being a local restaurant, we are committed to giving back to our local community," says Dean Ogan, owner of Dean's Seafood Grill & Bar. "We are doing these monthly menus as a way to partner with local charities to raise awareness and funds for organizations doing great work in our community. The Coats for the Children campaign was a perfect fit for December as the winter months draw near."

The prix fixe menu includes Manhattan Clam Chowder with parmesan croutons, Steak Oscar with lump crab, rosemary & lemon roasted potatoes and baby carrots, sauteed spinach and a charred poblano hollandaise and German Chocolate Cake.

Guests at Dean's can enjoy all three courses for $33 per person knowing $3 from their meal will be donated to Coats for the Children. Just stop by the restaurant at 1080 Darrington Drive to try it out.

Coats for the Children is WRAL's annual holiday fundraising campaign that benefits Salvation Army families by providing them with new or gently-used winter coats and toys. You can learn more about Coats for the Children online.
