Minor league baseball officials have some interest in the Bull City.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Minor league baseball officials have some interest in the Bull City.<br />

The Durham City Council received an update Thursday on the status of the Durham Athletic Park. Minor league baseball officials are considering using the old landmark for a training institute for umpires, announcers and groundskeepers. 

Officials also want to build a minor league museum near the park.

The Durham Athletic Park was the location for the movie, &quot;Bull Durham.&quot;

While Durham is the only city that minor league baseball officials are considering, officials said it could be months before a deal is made.
