robinfowler2 & allisonmallen - I did not get the $1 P&G coupon or the Campbells soup coupons that the ad indicated we would get, but the cashier just took off the amount that the coupons would have been so I still got the discounts. She said the machine had not been working right all day.

And in my CVS, the sign on the Puffs shelf indicates that you should get the $1 P&G coupon and it will make it free with coupon.

Mine did too, but I bought 2 Puffs. Not sure if that matters.

my 1.00 coupon (charmin, covergirl...) did work with Puffs.

  • robinfowler2 Sep 2, 2013

I had an issue at the kiosk: I didn't get the $1 off any P&G product. I did get $1 off "charmin, cover girl, crest, and more," and those are on the oage with the puffs, so I asked the cashier to try it with the $.88 puffs. It didn't work, but she overrode it. Not sure what's up with that.

Oops! Typo- my total was $5.95! But still really good... on another note, I did not get the P&G coupon at the kiosk :(

Great deal on Huggies Diapers and wipes at CVS today! I was in desperate need of diapers today and was super lucky to piece this together so thought I would share...

I went not armed w/ not the best deal but an OK one, planning to use a CVS coupon for $3.50 off Huggies Slip ons that came in the mail, and a $3 off Huggies from N&O (maybe last week...? not sure when they came), and since they weren't on sale, also planned to use the 20% off my purchase. But then I swiped at the kiosk and it printed a $5 of $25 of Huggies products! (There were a few brands listed). So I used a 2nd of the $3 off Huggies coupons from the N&O (one was only for slip ons) and bought a pack of wipes (using a $.75 coupon I printed last week from the Huggies site.)

$8.20 OOP plus a $1.50 for wipes and .75 credit on Ibotta= total price for two packs of diapers and 1 pack of wipes $5.75!

Oh, and it printed a $4/20 for my next purchase which I will save for triples in a few weeks :)

As long as both coupons were for the same Extrabucks reward card and you spent enough before coupons to have a subtotal of $24 on cosmetics, then they should have taken them, as far as I can tell. I suggest you call corporate on Tuesday (or Monday if they are open) and voice your concerns about her lack of knowledge and her completely inappropriate comments. Hopefully you have her name, although they should be able to look it up based on the receipt.

Here is the wording on their policy:

"CVS/pharmacy accepts multiple Dollar off Transaction coupons (e.g. $3 off $15)in one transaction if they apply

Ex. Customer may use two 3 off
$15 coupons if they are purchasing over $30.00"

Here is the company policy which I suggest you print and keep in your coupon organizer for future issues with this store.

Nikkitaylor, no, it certainly wasn't! Sounds like she needs some training in both coupons and customer service, sorry you had that experience :/

I had a little bit of a situation today at my CVS and I wanted to check and see if anyone knew for sure what the correct answer is. I tried to use 2 $4/$12 cosmetic purchase coupons in one transaction. I spent $26.09 so I was over $24 on cosmetics. My understanding is that as long as you buy enough that it is ok to use 2 or more dollar off coupons in one transaction. The cashier took both of them and the computer allowed it but then on my way out she told me that I had committed coupon that coupon fraud?! I try really hard to always keep within the correct coupon policy for that store so I was pretty upset that she basically accused me of stealing but I don't want to get away with something that isn't right either. TIA for your comments :-)
