Oh, although it was a misprint and a bit of confusion the manager said she WOULD honor the price until they got something corrected. Also the store kiosk printed a $2 off $8 tampons coupon so if you get 3 you could get an extra $2 off!

Also if you go to CVS.com you can print a store coupon for $1/2 M&Ms to use along with the 1.50/2 in today's paper. If my math is right they come out to $1 each after coupons and reward.

  • scoutmomof2 Mar 2, 7:08 p.m.

I believe the M&Ms are cheaper at Target this week. There was a 1.50/2 in the paper this morning, they have a 1.50/2 printable on their site which stacks, plus there is a 10% cartwheel and another 5% for redcard.

Dr D - thanks for the info that your store honored the price. I didn't get there today (we decided we should go for a nice walk in this beautiful weather before it gets cooooold again tomorrow) but I will try in the morning.

My CVS cashier honored the misprint price for the Tampax - the big boxes - I was so impressed! I had two of the $2 MQs and thought the $2.99 price in the ad must be for the 16-18 count boxes, until I got to the store and could find no sale tags to match the ad, which I then read more closely to see it said the larger boxes.

AND she corrected the Reese's egg EB mishap by printing one manually for me afterwards.

AND the 13 oz bag of BLACK jelly beans was included in the free-after-ECB deal.

    Yay CVS!

amysdc - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I have a number of the $2 coupons to use on the Tampax and I am so sad the $2.99 was a misprint!!! With two teenagers in this house we need a stockpile! LOL Maybe my store will honor the price as well. Heading there now to find out.

  • privilegesrevoked Mar 2, 3:13 p.m.

Lots of problems with ECB deals today not ringing up right. Since the registers are programmed outside the stores, it's a corporate matter but be mindful. If it shows in the ad, they will make it good for you at the store!

Absolutely true, IF the HT you want to use them with has a pharmacy dept and they have a CVS nearby that they consider a competitor. To be sure, ask the cashier before checking out if they take them as a 'competitor coupon'.

  • dishatoid01 Mar 2, 11:24 a.m.

I was just about to comment on the Tampax and Always. The cashier did an override for the two that I bought because it was clearly marked in the ad. I must have been the first who bought any. I always feel a little bad when it feels like i was trying to get away with something when I'm not!

Also, the Reese's eggs were not out because the ECB was not printing correctly.

  • amysdc Mar 2, 10:26 a.m.

Earth2karla, I think the answer is if there is a pharmacy in your HT it is considered a competitor and they should take it. My HT does not have a pharmacy so they will not take them. :/

I think God created CVS to test my patience on Sunday morning, lol. The Tampax pearl for $2.99 was a miss-print in the ad, they are actually 6.99. And all of the Glade sprays were 8oz at my store so I wasn't able to use the coupon for $2 off. Still was happy to get some easter M&Ms. :)
