oh jdouglas - I even have a raincheck from CVS for the 2 ltr, they didn't have enough when I went the first time, got a raincheck then found enough at another store later that week!

And I've got $9 in ECB's and a $5 Swagbucks CVS e-gift card, I think I'm going to score a supply this week LOL

I'll get the (16) two liters (have to get 1 to hit $15 since they will be 99 each), use the $14 in ECB/gift card, get $5 ECB back and then get my (5) 12 packs for $10, get $5 back from that.

I think that ought to cover me for a WHILE :)

I got some diet coke today also. Need to go do it again this week. I also picked up some Easter candy which my boys wanted. Used the 1.50 m&m coupon that expired today and the $1 Mars candy coupon (which works on the Dove also). Got $10 more ecb.

  • jdouglas13 Mar 10, 8:14 p.m.

LOL Nancy. I thought of you when I saw the Diet Coke deal! I know you are my fellow fiend when it comes to Diet coke :)

Faye, glad to hear the ice cream was such a hit! Make sure you get some too. When we have finished plowing through the ice cream we bought yesterday, and we both have some serious freezer space, I have an even better ice cream RC that I'd be glad to share with you.

And yes, hopefully, you shouldn't get an ear infection if you are already on antibiotics for your throat... I hope!!!

The Edge deal is even better - use the BOGO coupon from the Smart Shopper coupons link (coupons.com) and the $1 from 2/10 and you will get 2 for .49 each.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Mar 10, 4:11 p.m.

jdouglas - let's just say that my whole family has done some damage to that ice cream deal we shared yesterday! At least I am already on antibiotics so I shouldn't get an ear infection, right?! lol

"Sometimes I think they should just set me up with an IV the way I go through Diet Coke!"

LOL, I've said that for years, even joked with the coke guy at the store one day asking him if he brought any of the 'delivery systems' for diet coke :) He looked at my funny and I told him "You know, the pole with the bag of diet coke and an IV line?" He laughed.

  • jdouglas13 Mar 10, 1:59 p.m.

Oh, Faye! :( Dang, girl, you need some chicken soup. My offer stands, and it is open ended. Seriously. In the meantime, some ice cream will feel good on your throat. ;)

Very excited about the Coke deal at CVS! Need to stock up on that. Sometimes I think they should just set me up with an IV the way I go through Diet Coke!

Thanks for catching that ascherer! Just fixed it. Actually, my strep was feeling much better today and I thought I was on the upswing. Tonight I now have the cold both my girls had earlier in the week. My head is totally stuffed up. I am now seriously slowed down... Thanks for the get well thoughts. :-)

  • ascherer Mar 9, 9:07 p.m.

Faye - you may want to do your math again on the Coke deal. 5 for $10 is $2.00 each not $2.50.

Go get some more sleep and feel better soon. Strep can slow you down for awhile.
