I probably should have gotten a raincheck, but I prefer Pepsi for the most part (less sodium) although I really like the mycokerewards.

  • scoutmomof2 Jan 28, 2013

They would have given me a raincheck, it just wouldn't have covered the special deal they had on it.

Great deal, lilcouponer! Thanks for sharing!

    Super deals, scoutmom!

Think I found a good deal on the Advil....I bought 3 Advill for $4.99 ea and had 3 $1 off coupons which equals $11.97. Then I got $4 ECB and there was a $6 mail in rebate in today's paper when u buy three of their products. $1.97 for 3 50 ct Advil:).

  • jdouglas13 Jan 27, 2013

I had intended to go yesterday to do the coke deal one last time, but with the ice storm, I decided to stay in. If they were out of stock, weren't they offering rainchecks? I would almost rather have gotten a few rainchecks since I'm pretty well stocked up for now. I know at some point, though, I'd be wishing I had a raincheck!

  • scoutmomof2 Jan 27, 2013

They didn't have diet coke when I went last night so today I went and got 6 Pepsi products, 2 boxes of Thermacare back wraps including one that had an extra one in it (had two $3 printable coupons), 1 Dr Schools powder spray (it had a $1 coupon on it) and 2 newspapers. Had $16 in ECBs, used one of the two $10 cards I had, one 25% off coupon and paid $3.68 OOP. Plus I got a $10 off $50 coupon and $9 in ECBs. So next time if I spend $50, I should only have $19 minus any coupons plus tax OOP for $50 in product.

Nakabi-my DG is in a small town east of Raleigh but I would think they would all have the same display.

I got the call from my fav CVS this morning (Sunset Lake & Holly Springs Rd) that the 'coke man' delivered, so they are well stocked if anyone is looking for more deals on that. I needed 5 more to hit my $30 and got that taken care of.

  • scoutmomof2 Jan 25, 2013

I am contemplating doing it again. I have $16 in ECBs, two $10 cards and a 25% off coupon good through Sunday. I am thinking about using the ECBs and coupon and just paying the rest, get 4 packs of diet coke and then 5 packs of either vitamin water or powerade and another $10 card.

Well, I've done the coke deal thing twice. The first time I got other items than just coke but the second time I managed to get 12 of the 12packs of diet coke. That was @CVS in Carrboro. As I still have many 12 packs in my trunk I don't think I'll be getting anymore. haha It is a really good deal though; especially since the first time I had 4 free 12 pack coupons.
