I'm excited about that listerine deal :)

Met-RX bars are on sale @ HT 2/$4- Use the $2/2 coupon and get them for FREE during the super doubles! :)

Just got back from CVS, got all of the following for $4.73 OOP with $10 in ECB'S left: Simple facial cleanser, Simple facial moisturizer, Nivea shaving cream, Nivea after shave cream, 1 pack Pampers, 1 large pack of Pampers wipes, 1 Bayer A1C meter (going to donate to the nursing home where my mom works), 2 Stayfree pads, and a birthday card.

My Listerine coupon was only good on the 1L size, so it wasn't as great of a deal as the ad suggested - but still, I'll take $1.99 for a 500mL bottle, especially around here in a coupon doubling desert. (The nearest HT and other doubling stores are a hour away.)

I used the Stayfree BOGO coupon and the cashier took off the coupon's max value of $4.49 instead of the purchase price, so they paid me $.70 to take 2 packs out of the store. :) (Which made the Listerine deal even better.)

I did both BOGO free offers for the Stayfree pads - one using my ExtraCare Card for CVS's offer, and the other using the BOGO free coupon in today's paper. (If I'm correct, I think I should have therefore paid for two, and got two free, but it appears they only charged me for one and deducted the other as a coupon.)

I had a coupon from their coupon machine that was $2.00 off two Tresemme hair care products, and another that was $2.00 off any Dove, Degree, or Axe Deodorant - but neither coupon excluded their trial/travel sizes, which is what I got for a steal.

They had a lot of lotions and hair care products anywhere from 25% to 75% off, so combined with coupons, got a Garnier hair spray for just $0.99, and a Garnier hair paste for just $0.24.

I still can't quite figure out how they calculated the Stayfree deals - still think I was supposed to pay for two, not just one - but my total for everything ended up being just $7.03.

Diane - with CVS, if an item is on sale BOGO and you have a BOGO coupon, both will be free. The coupon pays for one of the items and the CVS sale pays for the other one. When I went today, I bought 4 packages, used 2 BOGO coupons, and all 4 were free.

To pss3....may I ask how u did that.. I'm a first time shopper going for the deals at cvs..... Any advice? It seems like I'm missing how to do it. Please help!

Sleath24, the trick is to buy items that give you ECB's and then use those ECB's to buy more items with ECB's. For example, Aveeno lotion this week is on sale and if you buy 2 lotions, you get a $6 ECB back. There was a $3/2 Aveeno coupon in this week's paper. So if you used that coupon with two of the least expensive lotions (I think they are around $4) you would spend about $5 OOP and get a $6 ECB that you can use on your next purchase.

For the deals I got this week, I had a $10 ECB from last week plus my quarterly ECB of $4 (CVS gives you 2% of your actual cash spent back each quarter). I did two transactions to help keep my costs low by using the ECB's from the first transaction on the second.

So, my actual two transactions looked like this:

#1: 2 Stayfree pads, 1 Bayer A1C meter, 1 pampers diapers, 1 pampers wipes. I used a bogo Stayfree coupon, a $7 off Bayer coupon, $2/1 pampers diapers, and .50/1 wipes. I used my $10 and $4 ECB's, paid $2.44 OOP and got $13 in ECB'S back.

#2: 1 simple facial cleanser, 1 simple facial moisturizer, 1 Nivea shaving cream, 1 Nivea after shave cream, and a birthday card. I used $2/1 simple cleanser, 1 $3/1 simple moisturizer, free shaving cream when you buy after shave cream, and a $4/20 facial care coupon that printed from the cvs coupon machine. Used the $13 ECB's from transaction 1 and paid $2.28 OOP then got $10 ECB's for next time.

Pss3 oooo ok I c now.
