Cutest Baby Contest winners announced!

And I'm excited to announce this year's winners in the two categories. Here they are!

Here's what mom Noemi tells me about this sweet girl: "Carolina is the daughter of Freddy Tinajero and Noemi Lagunas Nambo. She was 

born Jan. 21 at Rex Hospital. Since the beginning, I always knew she was going to be special because it was snowing when she came to this new world. She is our first baby. She held her bottle at four months. She started crawling at six months and started walking at nine Months (now she is all over the place). She loves to eat everything. She has three different nationalities. Her father is from Ecuador (South America) and I am from Mexico. So she is actually Ecuadorian, Mexican, American. She is the love of our life."

Noemi tells me that her husband wanted to add two things: Carolina loves to dance and she loves to watch baby commercials. She'll stop playing just to catch one when they are on TV!

Mom Laney Hales shares this about her little girl: "Taylor Louise is such a happy blessing to her Daddy and I. After a long, scary

pregnancy due to my kidney disease (I had to spend about 3 days a week for the last 15 weeks in the hospital doing IV treatments to keep my potassium and magnesium at a safe level for me and her) she came out perfectly healthy!! She is very busy, she was rolling over by two weeks old and was standing up by six months. Now she loves pushing toys all over the house or is playing with "her" black lab Emma (the dog lets her pull her ears and waller all over her. It's too cute). She eats homemade baby foods that I make, and her daddy grew in our garden. Sweet potatoes are one of her favorites, but she really won't turn anything away (the girl loves to eat). She has changed our world for the better, I am so thankful to be her momma."

Here's what mom Catherine Rahm tells me about this adorable guy: "Jack was born May 9, 2013 and is now 19 months! He is our only

child for now but he loves babies and other children. He likes to play with his cousin Eva and his best friend Sophie. He's a very sweet baby! Recently a friend brought her son over who was two months old and Jack helped take care of him the whole time! He threw away his dirty diapers, gave him his pacifier, hugged him, shared his toys with him, etc. He is such a loving little boy! He is also very active! He loves going to the park and playing ball. He has a very strong arm and a great throw! He likes to "sing" and practice writing the alphabet/drawing on the iPad with mommy and he loves reading with daddy and chasing our kitties around the house! He loves animals and likes to take his grandparent's dog on walks around the yard. He loves spending time with his grandparents, aunts and uncles. His favorite shows are Peppa Pig, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins. He is such a sweet little boy and he makes us so happy!"

Here's what mom Sara Buchanan shared about her little girl: "Olivia is a bright eyed, vivacious little 1.5-year-old. She loves her brother and loves to play outside. She has a kitty and four chickens that she helps mommy and daddy take care of. She is a very good talker and tells you exactly what she wants! She’s the pretty princess of the household and rules the roost!"
