Cumberland County woman pleads guilty to shooting husband

— A Linden woman faces up to 2 years and 9 months in prison for shooting her husband last summer.

Amanda Clark, 28, of 8434 Tourmaline Drive, was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill after shooting her husband, Ryan Clifford Clark, 32, four times at their home July 15.

She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced on Thursday. Her husband, who has recovered from his injuries, testified at the hearing.

    So did hubby testify 'For' or 'Against' her, I am guessing 'For' her because of the light sentance

    It would be nice if the story explained what led up to the shooting. That might have had something to do with the lenient sentence...

    Under 3 years for attempted 1st degree murder? Some people get more than that for selling drugs! She should'nt get a more lenient sentence because her husband did'nt die. Hypocrisy in the criminal justice system!
