FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Students attending Cumberland County Schools will make up four snow days as a result of last week's winter weather without going to school on Saturdays or losing time from their spring vacation.

The school system said Sunday that students will go to school on two teacher workdays. The other two days will be made up using time the school system banked by expanding the school day.

School leaders say students on a traditional school calendar will go to school on teacher workdays scheduled for Feb. 17 and March 26.

Students on a year-round calendar will make up days on Feb. 17 and March 14.

Students at Howard Health Academy will make up days on Feb. 17 and March 10, while students enrolled in early college programs and Alger B. Wilkins High School will make up days on Feb. 17 and April 18.
