Posted April 5, 2012

— Cumberland County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a suspected murder-suicide that occurred early Thursday morning.

Investigators say Allisha Michelle Cherry, 23, of 4379 Spinel Drive, was discovered in a bedroom at a residence on the 600 block of Hollins Street in Fayetteville around 5 a.m.

Shortly after, police responded to a shooting along Doc Bennett Road on a bridge over Interstate 95, where a man's body was discovered. He has been identified as Brandon Coleman, 23, of 610 Hollins St.

No other information was released, but authorities said the incident is still under investigation.

O.K. Confuzzled, if a body is discovered in the 600 block of Hollis Street and then a short time later another body is discovered elsewhere of someone who resides at 610 Hollis Street...they are most likely connected.

The crime of passion done in hot blood, then the execution as reality awakened in him....justice done, but only harm and loss prevailed.
