— Cumberland County authorities on Friday were investigating a case of dog abuse.

A veterinarian at Highland Animal Hospital contacted the sheriff's office Thursday after a German shepherd-mix dog was brought in because it wasn't eating properly.

The vet said X-rays and an MRI revealed the dog had internal injuries from repeated abuse.

The dog underwent surgery and is expected to recover.

No charges have been filed in the case.

I am a dog owner & lover of dogs in genheral. BUT....this story replaced a story of the death of another US Marine. AMAZING!!!!
We wrote that the death of our troops are getting less & less coverage.
This is the proof of it. The moderator may even kill these comments

Nothing will happen .. because there is no eyewitness !!

The Vet can prove the damage done to to dog but not the person!

    Awww, poor doggie.

I pray they prosecute the guilty to the fullest extent of the law, and that the doggie will get a new good loving and caring forever home soon.

    God bless.
