— Emergency crews responded to a "suspicious" fire at Club Emages, a drag club at 107 Swain St., early Tuesday, according to Fayetteville police.

A passing motorist spotted smoke in the area and called 911 around 4 a.m., according to police.

"The building suffered extensive damage to the roof area, and interior investigations have been delayed until a collapse team can stabilize the remaining portions standing," police said in a statement. "Initial observations suggest the fire may have started on the exterior of the building."

No other details were available.

Ahh all the little people gathered in the glass house with their stones. How is this different than all the gentlemen or exotic dancing clubs which encourage immorality on other levels? tsk tsk
