Crews repair water-main breaks in Raleigh
Utility crews were called to two water-main breaks in Raleigh Wednesday, city officials said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Utility crews were called to two water-main breaks in Raleigh Wednesday, city officials said.
One water break occurred at Chatham Lane and Milburnie Road and another at 1425 Sawyer Road, said Andy Brogden, Raleigh's water-distribution superintendent. Both breaks were repaired by early afternoon.
Water service was restored around Sawyer Road by approximately 2:30 p.m. and around Chatham and Milburnie by 3:30 p.m.
Brogden said the cause had not been determined for either water-main break.
