Crews fight two Raleigh house fires

Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh firefighters battled flames in two locations overnight Monday.
A fire at 5816 Bayberry Lane was reported just after 11 p.m. Monday night, but was quickly brought under control. No one was injured.
A fire called in just after 8 a.m. Tuesday at 207 E. South Street displaced five people, Lt. Tim Wilson said. The home had neither smoke detector nor sprinklers. The cause of the fire was an accident.
