HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Crews were on the scene of a house fire Thursday morning at 3604 Pasture Road in southern Orange County, the same location where several departments had fought a fire the night before.

Orange County dispatchers said the call was for a rekindled fire and came in at 6:27 a.m. Crews fought a fire there shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Orange Grove Fire Department crews asked for assistance from Hillsborough and other fire departments, including ones from Alamance and Durham counties during the two fires.

Chapel Hill firefighters were on the scene Thursday.

The area, a cul-de-sac off Dodsons Crossroads west of Carrboro, does not have water service, and firefighters needed several tankers Wednesday night. They had reported seeing flames before they arrived on the scene.

No injuries were reported.
