Raleigh's NC Highway 54 reopens after crash

— Both eastbound lanes of N.C. Highway 54 (Chapel Hill Road) reopened at Edwards Mill Road shortly before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday after a crash involving a school bus and a scooter.

No children were on the bus, school officials said, and no other information was available.

    There are laws where scooters and bikes can be ridden. They can't ride on the highway. They CAN ride everywhere else. They are not a significant danger to others so no need to focus any more restrictions or laws there.

    There are more of these crashes that go unreported.. There needs to be more definitive laws that restrict where scooters and bicycles can and can't be riden not just "where ever they feel like it"...
