Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Paint or paper, glitter or glue.

Make a valentine that is perfect for you!

Love Bug Wands:   Make love bugs with pom-poms, wiggle eyes and pipe cleaners.  Push a painted skewer up through the center of a pom-pom. Use googly eyes and pipe cleaners for the face. My guys are not so little anymore so I use these these “wands” to decorate my plants.

Glass Heart: My little guy made this for me when he was in kindergarten. Fill a glass heart ornament with old Rainbow Loom rubber bands and shredded paper.  It’s a great project to strengthen the fingers and it is pretty, I still love it hanging in my kitchen window!

Salt Dough Heart: Find a salt dough recipe that works for you. I found one that works in the microwave, but watch it       closely as it burns easily.  Roll out the dough, make the shape you like best and  bake.  Paint, attach a ribbon and find a place to hang.
Nothing says love like a homemade valentine.  Bring out the paper, glue, glitter and paint and let your little ones create!
