Coupon insert preview 3/17!

Posted March 14, 2013

There should be 2 coupon inserts in the Sunday paper this week! You'll find 1 Smart Source and 1 Red Plum.  I see a lot of non-food coupons as well as coupons for Easter candy, Hasbro toys, condiments and snack food items. This week's inserts are seriously lacking in coupons for stuff our family eats. This will be a good week to focus on printable coupons.

Click HERE for a preview of the specific coupons we will probably have in our insert this Sunday.  Although some of these coupons may be a little different than the ones we receive, many will be the same. As always, the updated coupon database will indicate the coupons we did recive by mid week after the inserts come out each week.

If you buy the paper at a store on Sunday (instead of getting a subscription), make sure you buy it INSIDE the store, not from the paper boxes. You want to make sure your paper has the coupons in it before you pay, which you can't do if you are buying from the paper box.

Happy shopping everyone!

I agree with Nancy! It's too speedy to keep buying papers with few good coupons. Wish printer ink was cheaper...

I thought it was just me noticing, then asked my Mom she agreed we are long time couponers.

I agree! Seems like most of the coupons are for HBA (health & beauty Aid) items which I love to save money on but I need to save more on my grocery bill!

Sadly, it seems like a lot of inserts (more often than not) have non food items :( I find myself using a lot more printables than inserts lately - I guess that would fit in with the reports that coupon use (inserts) is down 17% but coupons.com reported an increase.

You would think the manufacturers would figure this out? LOL

Actually, if that trend continues it will save us all money and we can cancel our newspaper subscriptions which are getting ridiculous in price and only buy papers on good weeks. I'm up for that!
