World Beer Festival attendees will be guided down the path of beer appreciation, explore the use of certain ingredients and brewing methods, learn how to select beers to enhance a culinary experience, and experience the history behind the beer styles. This path will include “gardens” and “villages” like the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium Beer Garden, the Art of Beer Garden, a NC Brewers Beer Garden, The Art of Beer Village, plus many more! At these beer gardens, guests will get a chance to sample hundreds of beers, including some local beer from the home state of North Carolina. At the new feature this year, The Art of Beer Village, you will get to listen to presentations about off- flavors, the state’s own malt house and how farmers are learning to grow hops in North Carolina, all while tasting beer.
