A Conway father is accused of killing his 13-month-old daughter.
Posted — UpdatedCONWAY, N.C. — A Conway father is accused of killing his 13-month-old daughter.
Jermaine Obrian Freeman, 26, was charged with first-degree murder and felony child abuse on Wednesday, authorities said.
He was being held Sunday in jail without bond and is scheduled to appear in a Northampton County courtroom on Monday.
Preliminary autopsy results show Khisha Lachelle Freeman died from blunt force trauma to the head on Dec. 20.
The baby lived at 414 Wood Court in Conway with her mother and father.
Her funeral was held Sunday at Roanoke Chapel Baptist Church in Jackson.
