Highway worker struck, killed in Greenville
Law enforcement officials are yet again reminding drivers that extreme caution needs to be taken when driving through construction zones, especially at night, after a crash Thursday evening left one worker dead.

According to NBC affiliate WITN, Trooper Noah Miles says a car was traveling east on U.S. Highway 13 near Frog Level Road in Greenville when it struck a highway construction worker who was trying to cross the street.
Troopers say the worker died at the scene and that the accident is still under investigation.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle.
