Construction Worker Injured in Raleigh

A construction worker was injured Monday at Fayetteville Street Mall in downtown Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A construction worker was injured Monday at Fayetteville Street Mall in downtown Raleigh.

The incident happened at the RBC Plaza construction site. Emergency crews said they believe the worker may have suffered a broken rib.

To get the injured worker down from the site, crews lowered him by a crane that was there for the construction.

The patient was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries..
