A construction crew working on Franklin Street hit a gas line Monday morning.

A construction crew working on Franklin Street hit a gas line Monday morning.

According to a PSNC spokeswoman, a construction crew was working on a curb at 409 W. Franklin St., when they struck the line shortly before 10 a.m. Crews had to shut down a portion of the street to conduct repairs.

PSNC crews were able to seal the leak at around 11 a.m. and the street was re-opened at 11:05 a.m. There were no injuries or evacuations.
