Consignment sales in Wake Forest, Cary, Durham this week

Stock up on kids' items at swap meet

After last week's nine consignment sales, we have a slower week - but there are still plenty of opportunities to nab some deals on items your kids need this spring and summer.

Here's where to find them:

The Kidaround Kidsale is at the MVP Sports Factory in The Factory, 1839 S. Main St., Wake Forest. The sale is open to the public 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday; and noon ot 5 p.m., Sunday. On Sunday, many items are marked 50 percent off. This week's sale will feature more than 65,000 gently used and new clothing items, toys, books, games, movies, DVDs, baby gear, furniture, sporting equipment from more than 400 consignors. 
Twice Is Nice Consignment Sale is inside Cary Towne Center, 1105 Walnut St., Cary, in the former Macy's space. Public sales hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday. Some items are half off on Saturday.
​And Kidcycle, the Durham consignment sale that supports the Diaper Bank of North Carolina, will hold its Dollar Day sale from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, at Northgate Mall in Durham. All items are just $1.
