Posted September 30, 2013

The Triangle Mothers of Twins and Triplets holds a sale twice a year of gently used items to help members and the general public save money on items they will generally only use a few months.

Consignment sale season continues to chug along. We have three sales this week. Here's what's scheduled.

Carolina Kids Consignment Sale will be at the Johnston County Livestock Arena, 520 County Home Rd. in Smithfield. It's open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 5:30 p.m., Sunday. Some items are half off on Sunday.

The Monkey Exchange, at the North Hills Club Ballroom, 4824 Yadkin Dr., Raleigh, will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, and 9 a.m. to noon, Friday. This sale features high-end, boutique children's clothes, shoes and clothing accessories such as bows or hats. If you go, expect a generally higher price point than at your typical consignment sale. All clothing is 20 percent off on Friday. There is free babysitting from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday.

The Children's Cooperative Playschool's sale is 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at 2025 Ephesus Church Rd.

October is a busy month for sales. Check our consignment sale database to see what's coming up.
