I count five consignment sales across the region this weekend. These are great places to stock up on spring and summer clothes and gear for your kids.

Here's what's on the schedule:

First United Methodist Church of Cary's consignment sale is at the church at 110 S. Academy St., Cary. Hours are 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday (when some items are half off). The public also can shop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, with a $5 donation to a local family in need. (Otherwise, it's free to shop this sale).
KidzStuff Consignment Sale is at Hayes Barton Baptist Church, 1800 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh. The sale is open to the public from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday; and 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday (when some items are half off).
Carolina Kids Consignment is at the Johnston County Livestock Arena, 520 County Home Rd., Smithfield. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 5:30 p.m., Sunday (when some items are half off).
Wings Kids Consignment Sale is at Hollands United Methodist Church, 9433 Ten-Ten Rd., Raleigh. Public sale hours are 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m., Saturday. Some items are half off on Saturday afternoon.
And the Chapel Hill-Durham Mothers of Multiples Semi-Annual Yard Sale is 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., March 5, at HillSong Church, 201 Culbreth Rd., Chapel Hill.
