Consignment sales in Morrisville, Durham, Raleigh, Fayetteville this week

Posted March 3, 2014

It's another big week for consignment sales. Here's where to shop:

The giant Kids Everywear sale at the Morrisville Outlet Mall opened to some over the weekend. It is open to the general public starting at 10 a.m., today, Monday, as part of its Shop for a Cause Charity event. All shoppers with a copy of the confirmation web page or email showing that they've joined the sale's mailing list along with a donation (see website for details), can shop at the sale today.

Kids Everywear also is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Some items are half off on Thursday. Some items are half off or 75 percent off on Friday. You do not need to bring a donation or sign up for the sale's mailing list to shop on Tuesday through Friday.

This is a massive sale that spreads out across the outlet mall.

Another big sale this week is Kidcycle at Northgate Mall in Durham. The first time parent preview party and diaper drop sale is noon to 8 p.m., Thursday. Bring in unused diapers that your kids have outgrown or a pack of diapers to help local families and you'll get to shop at the pre-sale.

Kidcycle's public hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m., Sunday. Some items are half off on Sunday. The sale's Dollar Day is 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., March 15. All items are just $1 on Dollar Day.

The Modern Vintage Resale, a sale featuring high-end women and children's clothing, is at Falls River Town Center in north Raleigh. The sale is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m., Sunday. Some items will be 25 percent off on Sunday. Read my earlier post for more about this sale, held by two local consignment stores.

And in Fayetteville, the Hugs & Kisses Consignment Sale is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday. Some items are half off on Friday. The sale is at the Crown Expo Center.
