It's another big week for consignment sales around here. Here's where you can find inexpensive children's clothing, toys and gear:

Upscale Resale is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, when some items are half off. The sale also will hold a special charity shopping night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday. Shoppers can get in early and get the best deals by making a $10 donation. Wednesday night's charity shopping event is for adults only. The sale is at 434 Crossroads Blvd., Cary, in Crossroads Plaza between Marshalls and Kid to Kid. The sale features higher end clothing and accessories for kids so expect a higher price point than at other sales.

First United Methodist Church of Cary's consignment sale is open to the public 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday (when some items are half off). For a $5 donation, shoppers can enter the sale at 6 p.m., Friday. The sale is at the church, 117 S. Academy St., Cary.

Second Blessings Consignment Sale at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday; 9 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday. Some items are half off on Saturday afternoon. The church is at 110 SE Maynard Rd., Cary.

Kidcycle's main sale at Northgate Mall in Durham was last week, but its Dollar Day is 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday. Each item at the sale is just $1. Proceeds will go to the Diaper Bank of North Carolina.

And Twice Is Nice Consignment Sale at Northwood Temple Church in Fayetteville is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m., Saturday. Some items are half off on Saturday afternoon.

More sales are coming up. Our consignment sale database has the details. This post previously had information about a sale in Garner, but it's not scheduled this season.
