We have a couple of consignment sales across the region this week. Here's where to find them.
For women, Designer Consignors at Cary Towne Center on Walnut Street is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Some items are half off on Saturday. The sale features clothing, accessories, home decor, jewelry, bags, shoes and more for women. This sale might also appeal to teen girls.
The sale also will offer an early shopping opportunity for the public. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., shoppers can bring $10 or $10 worth of items needed for Covered in Love. The items will go directly to the nonprofit, which supports those who have suffered from a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.
And Kidcycle, the twice-annual fundraiser for the Diaper Bank of North Carolina, will return to Northgate Mall in Durham this week. The sale is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m., Sunday, when some items are half off. The sale's Dollar Day is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 15, when every item is just $1. The sale will take over three storefronts at Northgate - suites 117, 125 and 129.
All proceeds will support the Diaper Bank's work to provide diapers to children in need. The public also can shop early - from noon to 8 p.m., Thursday - with the donation of a pack of new diapers.
