Congressman Pittenger does not support lifting embargo

“Much like with Iran, this administration clearly prefers working with and supporting governments that oppose American values and interests rather than strengthening our partnerships with pro-western allies. The Cuban government limits freedom of expression, association, assembly, and journalism and commits systematic human rights abuses. I don’t reward oppression, therefore I do not support lifting embargoes off Cuba,” Congressman Robert Pittenger said in a statement.
