WRAL's Renee Chou will be the keynote speaker at a parenting conference next week.
The National Association of Asian American Professionals of Research Triangle Park will host a half-day conference from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 7, at Brooks Avenue Church in Raleigh.
The event will let families network, share ideas and learn about local resources, according to the website. Topics include choosing the right school, cyber bullying, nutrition and mental health. The N.C. Professional Association of Nannies will provide childcare so parents can attend the seminars. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Tickets are $10 for adults and free for kids and association members. The association's website has more information and registration details.
