Community watch leader arrested on drug charges

— Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department Narcotic Division on Friday arrested the Westarea Heights Community Watch Leader on three drug-related charges.

Gloria Wilkinson Gutierrez, 63, of the 1100 block of Brenda Drive, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for the keeping and selling of a controlled substance.

Authorities said the investigation revealed that Wilkinson was in possession of more than three pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Gutierrez was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $15,000 unsecured bond.

    Maybe she was just watching out for the cops. I guess the old adage "keep your friends close and your enemies closer", didn't work out quite the way she planned.

    Instead of watching for Crimals she was watching for Customers. They both start with the letter 'C'. Easy misunderstanding.
