Clemmons cleans up site of 'satanic rituals'

Pazuzu Algarad and his wife, Amber Burch, are charged with the murder of two men whose skeletal remains were found Oct. 5 buried in a shallow grave in their yard at 2749 Knob Hill Drive.

Authorities have not said what led them to search the property, nor have they said how long Joshua Fredrick Wetzler and Tommy Dean Welch had been dead. Both men were listed on the website of the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

Algarad and Burch have a history of violence. Burch was convicted in 2011 of hitting her mother-in-law, who lived with the couple.

Forsyth County District Attorney, Jim O'Neill, said the cleanup is part of the investigation.

Neighbors, who woke up Friday to the sounds of chainsaws and backhoes, hope they are a sign that the nightmare in their midst is almost over. 

"I was just hoping that they were going to just dismantle this house," one neighbor said. "I don't know what they are doing, but I would hope the fire department burns it to the ground."
